River Monsters – a new reality program on The Animal Planet
River Monsters is the newest reality program on Animal Planet. It’s hosted by biologist and extreme angler Jeremy Wade who travels the globe to determine if some of the most well known legends (or fish stories) are actually true: did a large catfish attack a teenager in a German lake? Was a busload of passengers that crashed into a river in the Amazon eaten to the bone by a school of piranhas?
Every week Jeremy will face danger as he comes face to face with these river monsters. He’ll visit Germany, Australia, Brazil, and even Texas on his quest to prove the legends true or false.
The show premiers on Animal Planet on Sunday, April 5th at 10:00 pm ET/PT.
