Tonight we found out that Ryan was in the top three of music downloads on MSN. That is good it hear!
We heard each contestant sing a cover then an original song. I liked them all, except Lukas’ version of Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer.” Just too slow and boring for me. I love Dilana’s songs, but looks like I might have been the only one as early voting showed she was dead last. Is that any way to treat a girl that performed with a torn calf muscle? I didn’t care for Magni’s version of “Back in the USSR,” but then that is one of my favorite Beatle songs. The judges were mixed on his original “When the Time Comes,” but they all loved Storm’s original, with Dave saying it was his favorite of the season. Toby’s original “Throw It Away” blew both the judges and audience away and he was leading the votes at the end of the show. Jason thought it was great the way he embraced the whole crowd.
Who will go home? Honestly, I don’t know. I hope it is not Dilana because her original was my favorite, despite Gilby saying her lyrics are too literal.
