Rock wins on Hell’s Kitchen Finale
Well, it’s finally over with Rock winning on Hell’s Kitchen. I have to say just how cool it was for Rock and Bonnie to find out if they won by opening their door. The teams for tonight’s finale were as follows:
Rock - Josh, Vinnie and Brad
Bonnie - Melissa, Jennifer and Julia
Rock to my surprise had very good composure this evening. I was waiting for him to blow up and lose control. He made a very good decision by removing Josh from the fish station due to his inability to produce anything. I was actually surprised because Josh has had a history of not performing and to me choosing Josh could have cost Rock the competition.
Bonnie also surprised me because I was really expecting her to have a nervous breakdown. I really could not believe that she chose Melisssa on her team. Melissa was such a disruption on the previous episodes when she was on both the women’s and men’s team. Guess you got to have some sort of controversy.
I think in the end one of the major reasons for Rock winning the competition was because he had nothing returned to the kitchen while Bonnie has some pasta dishes returned because they were not cooked enough and they were cold. I must say that Bonnie handled Rock winning the competition with such grace. I give her a lot of credit for standing tall and recognizing the good that came out of the competition.
