RockStar SuperNova Finale – Part 1
Even Paula Abdul turned out for the first part of the RockStar SuperNova finale. Ryan Star won a Honda CRV for being the fan favorite. Still don’t quite understand why he was asked to leave – I like his voice.
The singers again sang a cover and their originals. I am honestly tired of hearing the originals (except Dilana’s, which I downloaded tonight). Everyone did well, but Tommy Lee told Magni that he didn’t remember anything about his original. And Lukas – Dude, I know this is RockStar SuperNova, but really? Silver eyeshadow? Please! And I am especially tired of hearing his original about him mom.
I loved that Dilana had the guys sing backup on her song! She was leading in the early results, which probably means nothing. I am very torn about this. I love Dilana – she is my favorite. But, I just don’t see a female lead singer for SuperNova. Call me sexist, but that just seems like a band that needs to be fronted by a guy. Toby is my favorite male singer, but he doesn’t seem quite right for the band. To me, Magni has the voice and the look for SuperNova. And Lukas – well, hopefully after tonight, I won’t have to hear him anymore.
