Row, Row, Row Your Boat
Tonight the teams were in Vietnam. Erwin and Godwin were the first to arrive, but the taxi trips provided headaches for all the teams. Most seemed to just go around and around in circles and Rob was getting on my last nerve. He was so rude to the drivers! Of course, I guess they didn’t know – or maybe they did and were just messing with him. By the time everyone reached their destination, all teams had to wait until 5 am to get tickets to Hydrofoil Harbor anyhow.
The road block was to ascend a cliff. I liked when the Barbies cut in front of Lyn and Karlyn and they said they got what they deserved. I thought it was strange that Peter made Sarah go up the cliff, but bless her heart, she made it!
The detour was to choose over (rowing to a boat to get provisions, then delivering them and rowing back to the boat) or under (row to an pearl farm and retrieve 30 oyster baskets then deliver them) then make it to the pit stop at the beach. Lyn and Karlyn were the only two to choose the over detour – what a bad decision. The rowing was tough! Rob and Kimberly were at each other’s throats the whole time, but they finished in 1st place, so they won jet skis. Peter and Sarah came in second, but her feelings for Peter are changing. Tyler and James came in third, Erwin and Godwin were fourth, and David and Mary surprised me by coming in fifth! Lyn and Karlyn finally battled against the tide to return in sixth place and the Barbies, Dustin and Kandice, came in seventh, so Tom and Terry were eliminated. But, Tom showed a lot of heart by literally pulling the boat with Terry in it.
