Roxanne and Allie are fired on tonight’s Apprentice
I guess if you paid attention to the beginning of tonight’s show you would have realized that two people would have been fired. Since I’m new to watching the Apprentice I forget that the final show is a two part episode. Both Roxanne and Allie were fired tonight. They lost their fashion design challenge big time. Short sleeves for a bellman? What would he do in the winter in New York when the wind is howling and it’s ten degrees above zero? Sean and Lee might have played their uniform design conservatively, but it was what the staff of Embassy Suites wanted – they liked the uniforms they currently had but wanted a few modifications.
The boardroom tonight was funny. Trump fires the women because their behavior showed a total lack of loyalty – how could two very good friends behave that way when pushed to defend themselves? But think about it. Going into the boardroom Roxanne and Allie realized that one person would be fired and one would survive to participate in another challenge. In order to save themselves they would have to attack their friend. When Trump shared his nugget of business wisdom tonight he said you can have friends in business, but ultimately it’s business and not personal. I’m not too sure that the women were able to separate the two aspects. The attacks in the boardroom seemed petty and childish.
Lee and Sean are the final two contestants. I’m kind of surprised – I thought one of the women might have a chance, and that whoever made it to the final two for the men would pick the other one to be on his team. Next week should be interesting when we see who Sean and Lee pick to be on their team. No matter what it will be entertaining.
