Samantha Harris needs some lessons in politeness
This week on the results show for Dancing With The Stars, as in every results show, Samantha Harris (the show’s co-host) goes backstage to interview the couples. It became very apparent to me tonight that she really has no manners whatsoever. I thought it was pretty bad when she asked Tia Carrere a few weeks ago how much weight she lost. The woman just had a baby, and let’s face it her post-baby body is better than a lot of women’s bodies who never had a child. This week she is interviewing Jerry Rice, says to him you’re not used to losing, how does it feel to be in the bottom of the pack? Do you think maybe there’s a more polite way to ask the questions? How about this – Tia, you look great. You’re really getting into shape. Or Jerry – how will you, as a football champion, persevere and make it to next week’s show.
Is it me? Maybe she thinks she needs to ask these in your face, tabloid TV type questions. Or maybe she’s never read her Emily Post.
