Sean and Twilley go home tonight on the Bachelorette
After an hour of hearing DeAnna say the phrase “break my heart” a hundred times the actual Bachelorette show started. I was looking forward to the show because I was curious as to who would make it to the hometown dates. All six of the remaining guys seemed pretty strong – well, Twilley was a wild card – but the other five were strong contenders for DeAnna’s heart in my opinion.
DeAnna takes the guys to Palm Springs for a week of relaxation and dates so she can get to know them better. No roses would be given out at the end of any dates so a lot of the pressure was off allowing the guys to relax and be themselves with DeAnna. The first one on one date was with Sean. DeAnna took him to the top of a mountain for dinner, and since it went well she invited him back to her suite for dessert. They did end up kissing so I thought for sure Sean was a strong contender. Sean gave her this corny line that was actually in a way kind of sweet – he told her that in the jigsaw puzzle of his life she was the missing piece. DeAnna said that if she was giving out roses after dates then he would have gotten one. This is why I am shocked that she didn’t give Sean a rose at the rose ceremony.
A group date was up next for Graham, Twilley, Jesse and Jason. DeAnna and Twilley go off together in one helicopter while the rest of the guys get taken in a second helicopter to the desert to go four wheeling. Twilley didn’t do his best during his alone time. He had difficulty opening the door for her to get into the helicopter, got motion sick to the point where DeAnna thought he was going to puke on her, and then he had difficulty opening the door of the helicopter to let her out. The group has a fun time in the dessert, and Jesse makes a big impression on DeAnna – she said that she thought he was sexy. After the trip to the dessert the group has a pool party when DeAnna got some alone time with Jesse, Graham and Jason. DeAnna was so hoping for Jesse to kiss her, but he didn’t. At this point I thought for sure that he would not be getting a rose this week because he didn’t let DeAnna know if he was physically attracted to her.
There was a final one on one date with Jason. DeAnna takes him to a private dinner party at Frank Sinatra’s house. They spend some time singing and dancing and then they go swimming where the two of them make out in the pool.
I did notice one thing kind of creepy about DeAnna – she keeps her eyes open when she is kissing the guys. Strange.
The guys go to the mansion for the rose ceremony and something seems off – DeAnna was not there to greet them. The host comes out and says there would be no cocktail party tonight because DeAnna had made up her mind and was not confused at all about her choices this week – her mind was made up when she left Palm Springs. She gave roses to Jeremy, Jason, Graham and Jesse and sent home Sean and Twilley.
Next week is the hometown dates for the guys. Meeting the families should be interesting. Who’s betting we will be subjected to another two hour show next week?
