Season 2 of Dancing With The Stars Begins
Thursday night was the first show of Dancing With The Stars. Ten new celebrities will be competing to be champion. This first show had the male celebrities dancing the Cha Cha while the female celebrities danced a Waltz.
Overall I would have to say the female celebrities are much better than the male celebrities so far this year with the exception of Drew Lachey. They all did a really good job and got some nice comments from the judges. The men on the other hand…..as mentioned Drew Lachey had an excellent performance, while Jerry Rice didn’t do half bad. George Hamilton looked to be more “acting” than dancing, while P. Miller (Master P) just looked to be out of his element. However, I think he has some real potential if he would be willing to work outside of his comfort zone and try something new. Kenny Mayne looked a little scared and a little overwhelmed.
If I had to rate the couples right now (in my opinion), here’s how I would rank them:

Giselle Fernandez and Jonathan Roberts
Stacy Keibler and Tony Dovolani
Tatum O’Neal and Nick Kosovich
Lisa Rinna and Louis Van Amstel
Jerry Rice and Anna Trebunskaya
Tia Carrere and Max Chmerkovskiy
George Hamilton and Edyta Sliwinska
P. Miller (Master P) and Ashly Del Grosso
Kenny Mayne and Andrea Hale
