Selling the Eccentric House
Tonight’s show dealt with two houses as usual – a beautiful Malibu beach house and an eccentric house in Hollywood. The Hollywood house was great, but the house itself was a bit odd and the furnishings were definitely different! But then the owner Ric was different. He was a record producer/phone psychic/ordained minister.
Madison was charged with leasing the Malibu house for a month, as Chris, a fellow realtor, didn’t want to sell it (although he did throw out the figure of $6 million). Sharon had her assistant Coles look at the house and she loved it. Sharon wanted to buy it, but Chris was not interested. After Coles looked at another house she was sure Sharon would not like, Sharon leased Chris’ beach house. Now he has extra money to give PETA to save all the turkeys. Madison’s commission was only $1,500.
Michael was selling the eccentric house, owned by Ric and Holly. Ric didn’t want to move, but Holly wanted a new house and he wanted to keep her happy. I liked the secret room – that was cool! After staging it (the pinball machines HAD to go), Janice Dickinson stopped by. I loved it when Michael called her Candice and she freaked out. And did she really need to throw herself at the gay married man? Anyhow, Michael had a buyer and at the last minute, the buyer backed out, costing Michael $39,250 in commission.

I enjoyed the show about the two very different houses-a beautiful beach house in Malibu and a Hollywood home-very funky, eccentric. Rick, of the last house, was witty, sarcastic but charming. Great guy to give up his adored house and let his wife have the “ideal” house for awhile. Regarding the Malibu house-wow $30,000 rent a month Chris got. At least I can say-so glad you’re an animal lover like me. You made my day when you said a portion of the lease money would go towards PETA. I’m a member and they do a lot of wonderful things(contrary to what some people believe.) Thanks so much Chris!
