Skating With Celebrities – I’m completely underwhelmed
I’m not too sure what I expected when I began watching Skating With Celebrities last week. However, I just didn’t think that I would be underwhelmed. Perhaps I’m comparing this show to Dancing With the Stars, and let’s face it that’s like comparing apples and oranges. The celebrities on Dancing With The Stars aren’t performing brand new routines and skills on metal blades that are dangerously thin and dangerously sharp. But then again, Dancing With The Stars has set a standard for these other performance shows to meet. It’s the same with American Idol. Any type of show that comes along to judge someone’s singing ability is going to be compared to American Idol. Usually the copy isn’t as good as the original. I’d say this is definitely the case with Skating With Celebrities.
