So Long Ken
Despite the fact that the Blue Team sucks at knowing calories (they lost the first competition), they really showed the Red Team who’s boss tonight. The Red Team, for winning the competition, got to choose two members of the Blue Team to only eat out and two members to train on their own for 72 hours. They made Erik and Bobby workout without Bill and Marty and Brian had to eat out.
The challenge was each team had to raise one team member to the top of a scaffold. Once there, they had to attach a flag then their team members lowered them and grabbed the next flag. Whoever got all four flags up first won the competition. The Red Team screwed up a couple of times and the Blue Team won easily. They got to eat a nice healthy dinner while the Red Team did a pool workout.
The weigh-in was interesting. Pam, Kai, and Heather put up some of their biggest numbers. Wylie, despite a hurt ankle, still managed to lose 7 pounds, but Ken lost 11. However, the Blue Team had chose him to sit out. They lost 29 pounds. The Blue Team had to lose more than 38 pounds – almost 10 pounds each. Bob’s reverse psychology (telling him he couldn’t workout without him) really worked on Erik – he lost 16 pounds. But, everyone put up big numbers and they lost 53.
Of course, I shouldn’t have been surprised that the Red Team girls were going to work together. They eliminated Ken, who had already lost 68 pounds. Incredibly, he went on to lose another 70 since leaving the show for a total of 138.
I am just waiting for the Red Team to eliminate Wylie so the girls can turn on each other. While they are struggling to put up 7 or 8 pounds, the guys on the Blue Team are putting up double digits. Guess they don’t realize they are harming their chances for winning weigh-ins.
