So You Think You Can Dance: Ashley and Max Leave
Two couples were broken up on “So You Think You Can Dance” tonight and a new one was formed. After a recap of Lil C’s ramblings last night (good to know it wasn’t just me!), we learned that Jason and Caitlin, Kupono and Ashley, and Max and Kayla were in the bottom three.
But, before we learned who was leaving, we learned that Evan’s brother Ryan, who I just love, auditioned for Season 6 (this fall) and got a ticket to Vegas. Love these brothers, love, love, love them!
Anyhow, after dancing for their lives, Nigel not only told us once, but twice that the decisions were not unanimous. Ashley was told she was going, which I understood. She really didn’t bring much to her solo. But, I was surprised when it came down to Max and Kupono and Max was told he was leaving. Even Nigel said Kupono’s solo was not that great, but he also said Max was hindered by his ballroom only experience. Still, I thought Max was the better dancer, but what do I know.
So next week, Kupono will team up with Kayla – that should be an interesting couple!
