So You Think You Can Dance: Mollee and Legacy Leave
Tonight on “So You Think You Can Dance” would determine who was in the finale. Russell did a Bollywood number last night that the judges loved. Then he did a hip hop routine that made Nigel say he felt they were going to see him in the finale. America must have loved him too because he was safe. Legacy did a contemporary piece that Nigel called “dangerous.” Then he did a hip hop routine that disappointed Mary and Nigel, but Adam said a b-boy getting through all this was huge. However, he was in the bottom two. Jakob’s first dance was the Viennese Waltz. Mary loved his lines. His Broadway number caused Adam to say he was one of the best dancers they had ever had on the show. Ryan did a disco routine that Nigel thought was a bit stiff. His cha cha got him put on the hot tamale train. But someone had to be in the bottom with Legacy and it was Ryan.
Kathryn did the disco number with Ryan. Adam talked about how he had seen her become a better dancer. Her next number was the cha cha that Nigel called “magical.” Kathryn was told she was safe. Ellenore did the contemporary piece with Legacy. Mary called her performance “unbelievable.” As for the hip hop routine, Mary was disappointed with Ellenore as well. She fell into the bottom two. Mollee did the Viennese Waltz with Jakob. Mary called her “priceless.” Her Broadway number with Jakob called Nigel to say he was a real professional dancer now. Because she was injured, Ashleigh was advised by doctors to not dance. The dancer joining Ellenore in the bottom was Mollee. I had to wonder if Mollee was thinking “I got beat by someone that didn’t even dance?” It blew Adam’s mind a bit as well.
For the girls, it was Mollee going home, which shocked me a bit. I thought Mollee was definitely the better dancer. For the guys, it was Legacy, which caused Ryan to gasp a bit. So the first married couple has landed in the finale.
