So You Think You Can Dance: Vote for Your #1
The last voting show of this season’s So You Think You Can Dance did not disappoint. Everyone danced with everyone – even pairing up Courtney with Katee and Joshua with Twitch. And of course, each dancer had a solo.
All the performances were great, although Nigel had a bit of a problem with Joshua and Courtney’s foxtrot, saying it looked tired. But, he said they were superb dancers and he was only being critical to try to help them grow. Earlier, during the contemporary number with Katee, Nigel said Joshua had uncontrolled control and he was not a normal dancer, but a brilliant dancer. He also said Joshua had set the bar for all the future untrained dancers. There was nothing but rave reviews for the crowd favorite Twitch. Nigel mentioned again Katee’s almost not being on the show and what a loss that would have been. Courtney was told she needed to learn to follow through on every move like Katee.
The show ended with a Mia Michaels routine by all four dancers, but in my opinion, the highlight of the night was the Russian trepak by Twitch and Joshua. Joshua is my boy, but his leaping toe touches were just incredible – he got so high off the ground!
Mary was very excited to have two hip-hop dancers in the finale for the first time ever. I think Katee will win, but I did my share by voting by Joshua.

Oh please please please let it be Joshua who wins. He is truly my favorite dancer. All the others had opportunities and money to take dance classes, have dancing parts in Movies (Twitch in HairSpray) dance competitions etc. Joshua came from the streets and for him to do a Samba, a lyrical, a Viennese waltz, a foxtrot etc - is truly a natural God given talent. I do LOVE them all - kudos, what a tremendous Season!!!
