Soul Patrol Wins it All
Taylor Hicks is the new American Idol!!!!! I can’t tell you how happy I am that Taylor Hicks won this year’s American Idol. Not that Katherine McPhee didn’t deserve to win as well but Taylor sang his heart out last night to win the votes.
The 2 hour finale show on American Idol was HOT! There were performances from “Live”, “Meatloaf” and that’s just to name a couple of hot performers. There was also past American Idol winners, Clay Aiken (in my world, from Season 2, should have been the winner) and of course, Carrie Underwood. There were also performances from all the final 12 contestants including Chris Daughtry and Ace Young.
This year they put a special twist on the finale, they added their own awards show and handed out awards to those few who didn’t quite make it with awards such as “Best Female Vocale” and “Male Bonding”. I have to say that this was by far the best finale on American Idol and I can’t wait until the concert. Thanks to the people who decided to add more shows to the tour because I needed that extra show to be able to see this year’s American Idols. It just goes to show you that just about everyone loves American Idol, at least 64 million people do.
Congratulations to Taylor Hicks, our new American Idol. You do “Make Us Proud”!!!!
