Sub par performance by Ace
Four more left the group tonight. It is getting harder for me to see people leave as I get to know more about them each week (well, maybe with one exception). I correctly picked two of the girls in the bottom three – Brenna and Kinnik. Heather also was in the bottom three, and it turns out it was Brenna and Heather who got the lowest votes. Brenna just seriously needed to go. Her cutsie little “call me” hand gestures made me want to jump through the television and slap her. I am glad Kinnik stayed. I think she is good; she just was not great Tuesday. At least she gets another chance.
Had one of the guys on my list – Sway. I was really up in the air about who else would leave. For me, Ace’s performance was sub-par, but his looks alone got him through to another round. I was really surprised my boy David got the least amount of votes and I hate to see him go. Kevin – cute little Kevin – I know he cannot win, but he’s so darn cute, I know I will hate it when it comes time for him to eventually leave (which will probably be next week unless he knocks our socks off). I heard a rumor that Sway was about to sign a record deal before he got on Idol, so maybe that will work out for him. I personally hope no one calls Brenna because she has lots more chutzpah than she does talent.
