Survivor China: Erik is Eliminated
This week, some in the tribe wanted to turn on Todd – namely Erik and Peih-Gee. The survivors were surprised by family members coming out to compete in the reward challenge with them. But some, including Erik and Courtney, didn’t believe it when Todd’s sister told him their younger sister had suffered a miscarriage. They thought it was all a play for sympathy. Regardless, Denise and her husband Robert won the challenge and they took Todd, his sister Brandy, Amanda, and her sister Katrina with them for the boat trip and feast.
The immunity challenge was to work through physical obstacles to get to a series of true and false questions. The contestants had to choose the key by the answer they thought was correct, then work back to the starting line to see if they were right. If they key opened the box, they could move on. If not, they had to go back. The first one to open all three boxes would win individual immunity. Todd led the pack the whole way, but chose the wrong key for the last question. Amanda, who had been second the whole time, also chose incorrectly, leaving the door open for Peih-Gee to win. I could not have been any less happy. I am ready for Peih-Gee to leave already!
Peih-Gee and Erik tried to convince Denise that if she aligned with them, they would take her to the final three, whereas with the others, she would probably be eliminated in fourth place. Denise thought it over and in the end, decided to stick with her Fei Long alliance and Erik was eliminated.
