Survivor Fans vs. Favorites: Kathy Leaves; Tracy is Eliminated
Well, I wasn’t sure it would be possible to find a survivor more worthless than Chet, but Kathy was able to trump his worthlessness card this week. Much like Chet, all she has done is sit around, whine, and complain. CBS really should take more care in picking “superfans” if they ever decide to do this again because many of these are pathetic fans at best. Kathy was tired of the rain and eating raw, dirty food. After the rain finally stopped, she sat on the beach and was upset because she couldn’t feel the vibe of her daughter or family anymore. That is when she sent word to Jeff that she wanted to leave. After she left, the rest of the tribe was sympathetic, but realized life, or in this case, “Survivor” for them went on.
The girls at Malakal began questioning Ozzy dictating their every move. He and Erik had grown close, with Cirie saying Erik would marry him if Ozzy asked. At the reward challenge, four blindfolded members had to maneuver huge money stones through a course with the help of two other tribe members. As they went through the course, they would break tiles and gather and the two members would gather them, then three people from the tribe would put the puzzle together. Malakal won and got a reward of a spa treatment on another island, everyone that is except Tracy, who was sent to Exile Island with Jason.
At the immunity challenge, the tribes again had to put together a puzzle (they are wearing me out with the puzzles!) from pieces retrieved from a platform in the ocean. Some member swam out and the others pulled him or her back in. Ozzy pretty much did all the running for Malakal, but they still lost. There was still talk of getting rid of Ozzy with Ami concocting a hair brain scheme that just like last week’s scheme, didn’t work.
At tribal, the people who said they would vote for Ozzy folded under his power and Tracy was evicted. Whether they like Ozzy being the leader of the tribe or not, he is certainly in power…for now.
