Survivor Fans vs. Favorites: Ozzy is Eliminated

Well, at least Ozzy has taken a bit of the heat off James for being the dumbest player in Survivor history. After Ozzy enjoyed winning the reward challenge (he, Jason, Erik, and Amanda got to go to Yap for a local dance, feast, and to spend the night), he came back, thinking he was still in charge. Yes, everyone knew he had the hidden idol, but he didn’t seem nervous about it. However, no one chose Cirie for the reward challenge and she was sent to Exile Island alone. With no idol to search for, she had plenty of time to think and decided now might be a good time to backdoor Ozzy.

Fortunately, for her, Jason made a dumb move that allowed her to put her plan in to work. The Immunity challenge was to hold your arm over your head. Your hand was attached to a chain and if you moved your hand, a bucket of water would dump on your hand and you were out. To make matters worse, Jeff had food temptation – donuts, cookies, candy. One by one the contestants fell until it was just Parvati and Jason. Knowing he had no friends, Jason was hanging on for dear life. At the 6 ½ hour point, Jeff brought out a tray of donuts, candy, cookies, pizza, milk, and beer. He said if either of the two would give up, they could share with the others. Jason said he had to have their guarantee that they wouldn’t vote for him. Once he got that, he dropped and Parvati won. Of course, everyone said they wouldn’t vote for Jason, but still planned to.

That is, until Cirie got to them. Using girl power and Jason, she told everyone this was the perfect time to backdoor Ozzy. The only ones not in the know were James, Amanda, Erik, and of course, Ozzy. At tribal, Jason talked about how he had to trust everyone’s word and Ozzy was just laughing. Despite James’ concerns about Parvati flipping, Ozzy didn’t play the idol. With a vote score of four for Jason to one for Ozzy, the votes for Ozzy started kicking in. Eliza was there because she was the first one on the jury, and her eyes were about to pop out of her head as the votes were read. When Jeff read the final vote and it was for Ozzy, Erik and Amanda just looked confused. Ozzy said he was an idiot to trust his alliance and it was Parvati that did the damage. This might be a good time for Jason to align himself with the girls to get rid of James, Amanda, and Erik.
