Survivor Fans vs. Favorites: Parvati Wins the Finale!
What we thought was the final immunity challenge was won by Amanda, but then Jeff put a bug in everyone’s ear by mentioning a final two. Cirie, Amanda, and Parvati, in an alliance since the beginning, voted out Natalie. But after a brief celebration, they didn’t find food, but treemail telling them to get ready for their final immunity challenge.
Amanda won that one too and had to decide whom to take with her to the final tribal council. Parvati was stupid in telling Amanda that Cirie couldn’t win even if she went, but Amanda was more stupid in not listening. Amanda voted out Cirie and took Parvati to the final in a case of loyalty over intelligence.
The jury got a chance to question Amanda and Parvati and there were some good remarks. However, none of them belonged to Natalie. She confused everyone (even Jeff) when she kept asking Parvati how her flirtiness resonated in the bedroom. Huh? Then she talked about Parvati flirting with her. Okay, still confused as to how the relates to the finale. Parvati finally gave some answer to shut her up. Natalie still gets on my nerves, even on the jury. Erik accused Amanda of ripping him apart at tribal, but then Ozzy took center stage. He just tore into Parvati, telling her she truly hurt him to the bottom of his heart. He also said that she threw his friendship away and took 14 days from him that he could have spent with Amanda. I was sure he swayed the votes in Amanda’s direction.
But, like Natalie said, Amanda is very beautiful, but has a zombied out pageant queen look all the time. I guess that is why everyone except Erik, Ozzy and I am assuming James voted for Parvati and she took home the million.
The reunion show was hilarious, as usual. Natalie says she has haters on MySpace, Jason had the hidden immunity idol in his pocket, and Ozzy said he and Parvati had healed their friendship. Erik admitted he was off the charts dumb then James gave the hilarious analogy of Erik outside the girl’s boat with a lifevest on, but then he gave that lifevest to the girls. Can we have James on every season of Survivor? He is just so cute and funny. Also loved his story about taking his shirt off at graveside to let the woman take pics of his abs. I was kinda hoping Erik would win the fan favorite $100,000, but it was between Amanda, Ozzy, and James, with James winning of course!
Ozzy and Amanda are still together, but Mary met Ryan from Survivor Pearl Island and they are now engaged. Jonny Fairplay got dissed pretty badly by Jeff, but showed off his fiancé and new daughter. Mikey B.’s mom got sick as he was leaving the island and died about a month ago – that was sad. However, there was good news in that Jonathan’s leg is okay and James’ finger is fine.
Next season’s Survivor is in Gabon, Africa.
