Survivor Gabon: Corinne is Eliminated
On this week’s Survivor, Bob was upset that Sugar belittled Randy as she did. Hope she realized that probably cost her Randy’s vote if she makes it to the final three. It is one thing to outwit someone, but another thing to just rub it in.
I am still cracking up that the tribe decided to call themselves Nobag. They divided up into two teams for the reward challenge with Corinne being the odd woman out. The challenge was to retrieve puzzle pieces and put them together to raise a flag. Then, the winning team would go against each other, putting together a slide puzzle. The winner would get a video from home, pizza, beer, and brownies. Plus, no one was sent to Exile this week.
Bob, Sugar, and Crystal won, thanks to Bob’s puzzle acumen. Naturally, when it came to doing the slide puzzle, he blew them away and won. He got to see a video of his wife, but surprise, she was really there. What a cute older couple. He took her to camp then whistled and everyone had a loved one come down. Kenny talked strategy with his sister – I am so bored with Kenny. Sugar’s sister brought some of their dad’s ashes and they spread that in the water. Matty turned into a slobbering blob as he asked his girlfriend to marry him, but it was sweet.
Bob told Corrine that Marcus has actually nabbed the idol he was supposed to have thrown into the ocean and hid it. He showed Bob where it was, but never go to use it. Corinne was like “Really?” and Bob said “No, but it makes for a good story.” So Bob made another incredibly real looking idol. After Bob won the immunity challenge (woohoo), they decided to bring Kenny and Crystal into the mix by telling them about the idol, that Corinne planned to use it, and asking them to vote for Matty.
At tribal, I was thinking everyone was going to hate Bob for mass producing fake idols, but those two were smart. Of course, Crystal decided she was still voting for Corinne and Kenny said he would vote for Matty, just in case it was a real idol. Corinne didn’t play it and she was eliminated by one vote. But, by not playing it, they still cannot be 100% it isn’t real. I hope Bob wins this – he is having he time of his life, but we know that the smartest guys don’t always win.
