Survivor Gabon: Dan and Ace are Sent Home
This week on Survivor, Fang was still scraping around for food. It didn’t help with Crystal knocked over the rice, spilling some of it. She tried to make up for it by not eating any, but she was pouty about it, irritating Matty and Ace.
Dan was still on the outs at Kota. He tried to align with Corinne, Charlie, and Marcus, but it only makes Marcus suspicious of him. For the reward challenge, the tribes members had to toss a ball back and forth, while a member of the opposing tribe tried to break it. There have been a lot of those types of challenges this season. Anyhow, the first tribe to break the other tribe’s ball won. Can you imagine who won? That’s right, Kota won…again and sent Sugar to Exile Island…again. Kota members got a helicopter ride over Gabon to a location where they had a nice picnic. They also got letters from home, which caused Bob to lose it, but the other members supported him.
Matty was angry because Sugar didn’t do well in the challenge and wanted Ace to agree to take her out, once again wanting to flush out the idol. Ace balked and said he wanted to get rid of Crystal, which ticked her off.
When everyone showed up at the immunity challenge, Jeff dropped the bomb on them that both tribes would be going to tribal tonight. The immunity this week would be individual immunity, not tribe immunity. But, in the challenge, it was Marcus who beat Ace for immunity. Jeff then told him it was up to him to choose someone from Fang to receive the other individual immunity. Marcus chose Sugar in a strategic move to force out a stronger player.
Ken wanted Sugar to blindside Ace and she finally agrees. Ace then asked her for the idol, but she says no. At tribal, the tribe in shambles continues to disintegrate as Crystal says she is mad at everyone for not saving her some rice. Sugar goes through with her plan to blindside Ace and he leave Fang, which I hate. I know he was playing people, but I will miss that accent.
When Kota goes to tribal, it was a toss up between Susie and Dan, but the tribe eventually voted out Dan.
