Survivor Gabon: GC Goes Home
This week on Survivor, Kota had plenty of food while they were rationing out rice over at Fang. Act and Matty got a fairly close up view of an elephant, which seemed to both fascinate and frighten the tribe that the elephants were so close.
For the reward challenge, the tribes had to throw fruit through a hole, with someone of the opposite tribe trying to knock it out of the air with a bat. If it made it through the hole, another tribe member had to catch it. At the end, the caught fruit would be weighed and whoever caught the most not only got to keep the fruit, but also got an herb garden, salt, and oil. Kota won by two pounds and decided to send Sugar to Exile Island again. She’s fine with that because having the hidden immunity idol, she gets to swing in the hammock and eat fruit.
GC got into it with Crystal, which Ace loved, and then GC left right before the immunity challenge. The tribe thought they would have to leave without him, which he said would have been fine with him. The immunity challenge went horrible for Fang. Ace was blindfolded and had to stop balls with a shield using Sugar’s instructions. Randy and Dan had to do the same, but they worked well together, Sugar and Ace did not. Only because Dan stopped one of his own balls, it was close at the end, but Kota won.
Fang had decided to send GC home since he told Matty he wanted to go and Matty told everyone else. But then Crystal, Kenny, Matty, and Kelly were wondering if Sugar had the idol. While she was watching Ace swim, Crystal went through her bag and found it.
The show made it seem as if they might vote Sugar out, but everyone decided to send GC home. He was just miserable there, was hungry and tired and ready to go home.
