Survivor Gabon: Kelly is Elimiinated
This week on Survivor, Matty and Ace sealed their alliance, which also included Kenny and Sugar, with a handshake and promises on their girlfriend (Matty) and mother (Ace). Then, Ace somehow schmoozed with Sugar enough to get her to give him the idol, at least temporarily. Once Kenny found out, he told her to get it back and she did.
Kota continued to eat high on the hog, but Dan was rubbing everyone wrong with the amount he was eating. Fang only had about six days worth of rice to cover nine days. While that might have seemed like incentive to win the reward challenge, which featured pastries, coffee, and tea, it wasn’t. Tribes had to carry a huge snake and race around an oblong track. The first tribe to catch the other and touch a tribe member would win. Players could drop out and that is just what happened to Fang. It came down to just Matty and Ace carrying the snake and it was just too heavy for them. Kota won – again. When Crystal cried after the competition, Randy said “Wah wah,” which ticked her off. Kota sent Sugar to Exile once again.
To help boost their tribe esteem, Kota cooked and ate a huge turtle. I’d have to pass on that one – I like turtles too much to eat one. Kota’s streak continued in the immunity challenge, although Matty and Kenny gave them a run for their money. Tribes had to go two at a time through obstacles to retrieve pole pieces. But, when it came time to put them together, Ace wanted to do it all. Jeff pointed out several times that Fang is still working as individuals and not a team.
Although Ace and Sugar’s names were thrown around, Kelly was sent home at tribal. Jeff did point out that the tribe did show some passion at tribal, so maybe there is still life in them.
