Survivor Gabon: Paloma is Voted Off
Fang got hungry this week on Survivor Gabon – seriously! They realized they were eating three meals and day and that was too much. They also got hungry for victory and actually pulled it off.
Fang won the reward challenge, but I am not so sure Ace didn’t plan it that way. He felt Kota should keep strong for the immunity challenge – that immunity was more important than comfort. Fang got pillows, mats, etc. and send Sugar to Exile Island. That seemed like a logical choice, but that girl is smart! She was able to find the hidden immunity idol. Being close to Ace, she told him and he said “this is ours.” Everyone knows Ace is close to Sugar and he suggested getting rid of Paloma since she gave up on the reward challenge. First of all, she is a tiny thing and the challenge was to have people pull her off a pole and back to the starting line. There really wasn’t much giving up to be done!
For the immunity challenge, everyone was happy to get swimsuits. They had to go down a slip and slide, swim to collect a puzzle piece and bring it back. One tribe member would try to solve the puzzle when all six pieces were retrieved. Fang started out with a lead, but Susie lost that for them. However, they weren’t too far behind and it was Ken and Bob solving the puzzle. I figured Bob the professor with his bow tie would solve this math puzzle easily, but after several failed attempts by each, Ken finally solved it.
Kelly and Paloma tried to convince some people to keep her, but then she opened her mouth at tribal to talk trash about Ace – never a wise move. She was voted out, with Marcus wiping a fake tear from his face as she left.
