Survivor Gabon: Randy is Eliminated
On Survivor, Bob talked to Sugar about trying to find real idol, but told her he made the fake one, having no idea that she has the real one. Randy and Corrine wanted Matty on their side to combat the others and talked to him, but you know that wasn’t happening.
It was auction time! Everyone had $500 to spend. Randy paid $180 for beer and peanuts. Kenny paid for $340 for a scroll that allowed him to send someone (he chose Bob) to exile and take their money. Sugar spent most of her money on chocolate bars and peanut butter. Susie bought the bath and new clothes. Matty bought a cheeseburger, fries, and a soda. For $280, Randy got spaghetti and bread. Corrine bought a bottle with a scroll in it that Jeff told her she couldn’t read until the challenge. Randy bought cookies for the tribe, but Sugar refused it. She tried to give hers to Matty, but Randy said no, he was the boss, so he gave part of Sugar’s cookie to Corrine. Sugar finally took Randy’s cookie when he offered it to her, but she gave it to Matty. Randy was very, very unhappy. No more beer for him!
Everyone, finally tired of Randy, talk about taking him out. Matty, Sugar, Kenny, Susie, and Crystal promise to stay strong. But, Matty realizes that Bob is stronger than Randy and Corrine and thinks he should go next. Randy walks up and hears them talking then runs to Corrine. He decides to make everyone miserable and act nasty. Wait, isn’t that what he’s been doing all along? His master plan (Operation Strong Arm) was to tick everyone off, get Bob to give him the idol, then play it at tribal and they would send Susie home, since she flipped. Oh, if he only knew.
The challenge was to run down a board with puzzle pieces. Only the first three to do it would get to put the pieces together. The first to get the blocks to fall like dominoes won personal immunity. It came down to Matty, Kenny, and Corrine, who made it to the final round with the scroll she purchased. Kenny tried first, but it the blocks didn’t fall. All three decided to try at once. Corrine’s blocks stopped short, then Mattie’s did too and it was Kenny that won. That little rat!
I thought Sugar was going to tell Bob she had the idol, but she just told him it would behoove him to vote against Randy. She told him she thinks it would be hilarious for Bob to give Randy the fake idol and Bob agrees. Bob tells Corrine that he will give Randy the idol. Oh, this is going to be good!
At tribal, Jeff brings up the cookie incident. Randy said he was testing her. He is SO arrogant, it is unbelievable. Crystal put Randy’s name down then loudly said he had made her life hell since day one then followed that up with “Forget you – goodbye.” Then it was time to play the idol and Randy stood up. I thought Crystal was gonna die. Everyone was laughing, even Marcus and Charlie. Randy had a smug look on his face and when Jeff said it wasn’t a hidden immunity idol, everyone cracked up. Randy glanced over at Bob, who would not look his way. So, Randy was voted out. I was surprised Corrine didn’t look surprised. Oddly, after it was all over, I kinda felt sorry for Randy, with everyone laughing at him.
