Survivor Tocantins: Jerry is Eliminated

One this week’s “Survivor,” Erinn didn’t endear herself to anyone by saying she was just hanging around Candace because she didn’t trust her rather than admitting an alliance. Coach said that just insulted everyone else’s intelligence. Jerry was not eating much because his stomach is hurting but he tried to pretend like everything was okay. Jalapao caught a few small minnows, but it wasn’t what they expected. They did catch a few bigger fish with the poles.

The reward challenge was to go blindfolded in pairs through a maze while the others shouted directions. They had to find a bucket, go to a water tower, fill it with water, then go back through the maze and fill a container, which would raise a flag. Then, they had to do it again, this time filling the bucket with corn. Winners got comfort items such as an umbrella, blankets, pillows, and a hammock. Jalapao won and decided to send Brendan back to Exile. He chose Taj to go back with him. Jeff asked Spencer if he was concerned that the same two were going back and Spencer said he wasn’t surprised.

Timbira was feeling low after losing the challenge. Coach is unhappy and talked to the tribe about being supportive and keeping up morale. But, he has decided to vote off Erinn next. He tells Tyson and Tyson thinks Coach has a school boy crush on him. Over at Jalapao, they were celebrating their win by putting their tarp over their roof right as it started raining.

At Exile, they chose urns again and Taj got the clue this time. It said the hidden idol was surrounded by wood. They plan to send Sierra and Stephen, whom they trust, if the tribes chose not to send them again next time to form a four-way alliance. Brendan found the hidden idol in the statue next to where tree mail is delivered.

The immunity challenge was for two members to roll six crates back to their mat. Once all the crates were there, they had to stack them to spell their tribe name then everyone had to get on top of the staircase. Timbira started out with a lead, but they slacked off and Jalapao caught up with them and won immunity.

Poor Jerry was weak from being sick and not eating. He was afraid he might be a target for elimination. While the tribe was talking about it, Coach noticed Erinn had an “evil grin” like she knew she was still staying. He even replayed the look for Tyson, so they still planned on sending her home.

At tribal, Timbira talked about how they panicked at the immunity challenge after taking a lead. Brendan said they communicated well, but Jerry disagreed. When asked by Jeff, Jerry said he though Brendan should be leader and Coach did not like that. He said he told everyone with his eyes what to get then says he would love to be the leader. Erinn laughed and said Brendan was better at leading.

When the voting was finished, it was curtains for poor Jerry. Maybe Coach isn’t quite as in control as he thinks, huh?
