Survivor Tocantins: Joe Goes Home
There were a lot of plans tonight on “Survivor,” but, well, you what often happens to the best laid plans.
The two tribes merged and Jalapao felt terribly outnumbered (understandably). The new tribe name is Forza and they are living at the Timbira camp. Coach felt that he and J.T. were “kindred spirits,” so he struck up a deal to make an alliance with Tyson, Debbie, J.T., and Stephen. J.T. and Stephen jumped at the chance to get an in with the fractured Timbira tribe.
Coach wanted to use the new alliance to get rid of Brendan. They thought he had the idol and saw him as a big threat. Meanwhile, Brendan and Sierra hadn’t said anything to Taj about their Exile alliance, so Stephen talked her into voting Brendan out tonight.
Tyson won the first individual immunity, but he really wasn’t at risk anyhow. Jeff noticed at the challenge that Joe’s leg was swollen and had medical look at it. While Joe was gone, Stephen realized that if Brendan had the idol and played it, J.T. would be at risk, so he talked to Tyson about splitting the votes between Brendan and Sierra. Tyson agreed and told Coach. Stephen also talked to J.T. about cutting the Coach alliance loose at some point and going with Taj.
However, all the talk was for naught. Jeff came in and told the tribe that there would be no tribal council tonight because Joe had been told by the doctor that his infection could spread to his bone or blood and be very dangerous, so he was being evacuated out.
