Survivor Tocantins: The First 15 Days
Still no new “Survivor” this week – we got a recap of the first fifteen days, then a look at some stuff we had missed like first impressions the tribe members had of each other.
We saw them eat live little fish (which is just one reason I would never make it on “Survivor”), have trouble starting a fire (if you are going on the show, you might want to practice that at home first), and Tyson developing a manly smell and running around naked. We also learned that Sierra didn’t want to cook by herself or listen to Coach. There was also fear of snakes, alligators, and bugs, but the biggest fear might have been of Coach and his goofy antics.
I loved that some of the tribe members freaked out a bit about the dirtiness – you are on “Survivor!” They didn’t promise five star hotel accommodations. The Timbira guys had the bench building contest to prove who the alpha male was while over at Jalapao, Taj felt “ugly.” We saw Coach and Tyson make a pact – well, at least it seemed like a pact. Then, we saw spooning between Stephen and Brendan. I liked the cutaway to the two frogs – nice touch camera guys!
These shows are fun, but after a missed week, I was not looking forward to a filler show – I want to see someone voted off! Thankfully, the real show will return next week.
