SYTYCD: And the Winner is Sabra!
Well, Cat promised us tonight would not contain padding, but I knew differently. It was a two-hour finale that could have easily been wrapped up in 30 minutes. But anyhow, we got to see all top 20 dancers again. And they said they brought back the judges from the season, but I didn’t see Debbie Allen.
They did some updates on stuff, such as Claire, who twisted her ankle last year. Nigel had asked her to come back, but she was busy…having a baby! They brought back the hip-hop clogger Brandon Morris and cute little dancer Bryan Gaynor. He was the guy with scoliosis, but he was still a good dancer. I hope Shane can get him a part in a movie. We found out that Jesus, Anya, Shauna, and Hok would be joining the tour as alternates. Then we were promised that Cat would dance with Nigel, but it just turned out to be some silly little animated thing you’d see in an email. So much for having no padding!
We saw all the judges favorite dance routines from the season including Mia Michael’s flower dance and the samba that Lacey and Danny did. The first dancer we found out would not be winning was Lacey. I figured she didn’t have a chance since Benji won last year. The second dancer we found out would not win it was Neil. The little girls seemed heart broken. It was down to Sabra and Danny. I really thought Danny was going to walk away with it, but maybe some people still felt he was too cold or arrogant because Sabra was crowned the winner. Not bad for a girl who’s only been dancing for four years!
