SYTYCD - Ashlee and Ricky Eliminated
I knew tonight was going to be a tough night. It is the first night of dancing with a new partner. For some dancers, it is the first time ever dancing with a partner.
The bottom three were announced and I wasn’t really surprised to find Sabra and Dominic, Ricky and Ashlee, and Faina and Cedric in the bottom three. After a funny routine from Benji in which he dropped his pants (you would have just had to have seen it to understand), we saw each dancer dance for their life.
For the girls, Ashlee was eliminated, with Nigel saying she showed more emotion than dance in her solo. For the boys, it was Ricky that was eliminated. I really hated to see any of the guys leave tonight, but Cedric was so sincere and Dominic was so incredible when he danced right out of his shirt, I guess it made sense that it would be Ricky leaving. So on the first week, the partnership of Ashlee and Ricky proved fatal for both dancers.
