SYTYCD: Danny, Neil, Sabra, and Lacey are in the Finals!
After what appeared to be a Thriller wannabe opening dance routine by the top six, we spent a lot of time just waiting to hear who the finalist were. Honestly, this could have easily been a 30-minute show, but for some reason, the producers subjected us to an hour.
We found out that Cedric would be starting the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in September. We saw Titus and the African Dance Music Ensemble, followed by a solo from each of the six remaining contestants. When I thought they couldn’t drag it out anymore, they threw in a segment about the show choreographers helping inner city teachers spread the love of dance to underprivileged kids. Then there was a krumping number by Lil C.
Finally, finally, finally, we found out the results. I don’t think they came as a shock to many people. For the girls, Lauren was going home and for the guys, it was Pasha. Not because they were bad dancers, but I just think, as Nigel said, perhaps they bloomed too late. So, Danny, Neil, Sabra, and Lacey are in the finals. Personally, I think it is between Sabra and Danny, with Danny taking the whole thing.
