SYTYCD: Shauna and Cedric Eliminated
I knew tonight was going to be tough, but in my last blog, I correctly predicted the three couples that would be in the bottom three. Please, no applause. In the bottom three were Hok and Jaimie, Cedric and Shauna, and Danny and Anya. Nigel said he was sorry, but not surprised to Danny and Anya in the bottom 3. Adam apologized for his “arrogant” remark, but I think I know what he meant by it. Danny is good, but like Adam says, gives off a vibe as if he has already won the show and that is a turnoff. Mary said she didn’t know what happened with Cedric since he had really stepped up last week.
After dancing for their lives (Cedric did this really cool, sick arm thing), the judges gave their decisions, both of which were unanimous. For the girls, they felt Shauna had not grown as they had hoped, so she was sent home. Between Danny, Hok, and Cedric, there was really no choice – Cedric was sent home. But not before getting standing ovation by the judges and being told by Nigel “this is the end of your journey with “So You Think You Can Dance, but is the beginning of your journey in dancing.”
