Tai Babilonia and Bruce Jenner kicked off Skating With Celebrities
On this week’s show the next couple to be kicked off Skating With Celebrities was the pair of Bruce Jenner and Tai Babilonia. When all was said and done they just didn’t have what it takes to compete in the final show. I think Tai and Bruce were at a disadvantage. John Zimmerman and Lloyd Eisler are very strong and very talented pairs skaters. They could lift, throw and carry their partners all over the ice. Bruce Jenner just didn’t have that same skill level. Bruce and Tai couldn’t compete with the lifts and spins the other two teams were performing. I think the writing was on the wall since the first few episodes. The judges also made their feelings clear throughout the past shows that in their minds the teams to beat were John Zimmerman and Jillian Barberie and Lloyd Eisler and Kristy Swanson.
