Take 2 for Britney Spears at the 2008 MTV VMA’s
Britney Spears was the first nominee announced for this year’s 2008 MTV Video Music Awards for her hit single “Piece of Me”. MTV viewers selected this video along with three other top female artists for the “Best Female Video” category. Does this mean she will be performing live at the awards show? The paparazzi must be cleaning their camera lenses but MTV has yet to confirm or deny this report. Tune into FNMTV Premieres, the network’s new music video series hosted by Pete Wentz on 8pm ET/PT Friday, July 25.
For the next four weeks, you can cast your vote at vma.mtv.com for the VMA categories including “Best Hip Hop Video, Best Pop Video, Best Rock Video, Best New Artist, Video of the year and much more.
This year’s MTV Video Music Awards can be seen live from the Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on September 7, 2008. British comedian Russell Brand will be hosting the show.
