The Amazing Race: Non-Elimination Round
And it is a good thing for TK and Rachel! I hate the episodes where one team just seems to fade away and you don’t hear about them until the end. That is what happened to TK and Rachel, who left first and seemed to get the best flight, one leaving an hour and a half before the other three teams. But, somehow, it ended up being the worst flight (because of two connections) and tonight was just a competition between the other three teams.
The teams flew to Osaka, Japan. It was funny watching the roadblock, which was for one team member to drive a taxi through the city streets. Everyone was frustrated, but at least Nicolas had a bit of experience driving on the “wrong” side of the road.
Nathan and Jennifer led most of the way, but once again, it seems like their bickering got the best of them. They couldn’t find a taxi driver that knew how to get to the pit stop and Nathan “shoved” Jennifer in the cab when they finally did. Ronald and Christina finished in first. Christina credited it to the fact that Ronald didn’t lost his temper once during that leg, but he did fuss about the airport cab driver letting them off at the wrong stop. Nathan and Jennifer finished in second and Donald and Nicolas finished in third.
TK and Rachel finally finished, well after dark. They realized after a while that they were in last, but were happy to be told it was a non-elimination round by Phil. However, he cautioned them that they are three hours behind the other teams and must perform the speed bump next leg.
