The Bachelor: Ashley, Christina, and Rozlyn Leave
Scandal hit “The Bachelor” as we knew one of the contestants was caught in an “inappropriate relationship” with someone else. It was also the start of the group and one-on-one dates.
Gia, Rozlyn, Valisha, Corrie, Christina, and Ashleigh H. got to go on an InStyle photo shoot with Jake. Rozlyn really commanded attention as she first showed off her “cha cha” as one girl put it during the photo shoot, then pulled Jake over for a passionate kiss during alone time. It must have done the trick because she got the group date rose. Christina, who had been drinking, tried to get some one-on-one time with Jake, but you know when the guy says he wished she hadn’t been drinking so much, that is a bad thing.
The one-on-one date went to Ali. She got a diamond necklace to wear as Jake flew her around in a small plane (which caused her anxiety at first) then took her to dinner in Palm Springs. After he gave her the rose, they were serenaded by Chicago. No, not the city, the band.
The second group date consisted of Elizabeth, Jessie, Kathryn, Vienna, and Ashley E. Crazy Michelle was so hurt, she started packing her bags, but someone talked her into staying. I guess without drama, the show would be boring. The second group went to an amusement park. Elizabeth, turning a bit crazy herself, wrote Jake a note saying he couldn’t kiss her until he decided she was the only one he wanted to kiss. Now that all sounds sweet, but in her note, she wrote something about until he decided he wanted to kiss only her “for as long as we both shall live.” I dunno, just struck me as a bit psycho, but he fell for it and gave her the second group rose.
Speaking of drama, the big “Bachelor” scandal finally came to light. It seems that it was Rozlyn that was having an inappropriate affair with a staffer. Chris called her out and told her such. She said her personal life was no one’s business. Well honey, it kinda is when you come on a reality show about dating. Christ was nice, but stern and told her to pack her bags. She told the other girls she was leaving and they acted like someone had died, with shock and crying.
Jake wanted his rose back, so at the rose ceremony, he had 10 to give out. Once again, he gave one to Crazy Michelle. At least this time she was not the last rose that dubious distinction went to Kathryn. Since Rozlyn had already left (and good riddance!), Ashley E. and Christina were the two without roses and they were sent packing.
