The Bachelor: Ella, Kathryn, Ashleigh, and Jessie Leave

The Bachelor” Jake is cutting down potential wives like it is cool this season. The girls loaded up in RVs for a road trip up the coast of California.

The one-on-one date went to Gia and frankly, she is becoming my favorite. The other girls wondered how the city girl would fare on the date at the vineyards then at Jake’s tent, but she did great. He seemed really surprised and happy to be with her and ended up giving her a rose.

The group date was on dune buggies. Corrie was the only one that rolled down the hill with Jake, which was a bit surprising, so she thought that gave her an edge for the rose. During a bit of one-on-one time, Ashleigh claimed to not want to appear desperate, but she was all over Jake – all over him! When he asked Vienna for some one-on-one time, she refused, asking to instead be the last one he talked to. None of those strategies panned out as he ended up giving the group rose to Tenley.

This week was a dreaded two-on-one date, which meant one girl would go home immediately. For some reason, Ella and Kathryn were chosen. Now I thought after Jake brought out Ella’s son, they had a real connection, so I felt a bit sorry for Kathryn. Then during the date at Big Sur, he spent most of his time talking to Ella. That was good for Ella, right? Wrong. After talking to Kathryn, Jake asked Ella to come outside. He told her she was an amazing, complete package, but he was developing stronger feelings for some of the other women and sent her home. That was good for Kathryn, right? Wrong. Jake went back in and told Kathryn that he wasn’t the guy for her. The two-on-one date rose went into the fireplace.

At the ceremony, Jake gave roses to Ali and Corrie then stalled with Vienna, Ashleigh, and Jessie standing there. He walked out to talk to Chris and told him that he wanted to send two of the remaining three girls home, even though he had two roses left. Chris told him that was fine and Jake gave the final rose to Vienna, much to Ali’s dismay, so Jessie and Ashleigh had to leave.

From the beginning, Ali was one of my favorites, but she has been so verbally mouthy about Vienna that I am starting to not like her anymore. Let Jake find out for himself that Vienna is spoiled or whatever it is that they don’t like about her.
