The Bachelor: Jason Sends Megan, Shannon, and Lauren Home

Three dates again this week on “The Bachelor,” but instead of the usual, there is a two-on-one date, meaning someone is going home immediately. The one-on-one date had to be earned – with an original love song. The girls only had 30 minutes to write, so you just knew these were gonna be bad. Nikki freaked out about the song – was she talking to herself about it? Molly got the one-on-one date.

The one-on-one date was just a “chill” date. They have a picnic at Jason’s place then went camping in the backyard. He lent her comfy clothes, which you know the other girls hated, especially when she came back to the house in the morning! Of course, he kissed her and gave her the rose.

The group date was for Jillian, Lauren, Shannon, Megan, Melissa, and Naomi. The girls went to the set of General Hospital. They were all freaking out. They got to act in a scene that included kissing Dr. Jason. Megan’s kiss goes well past the “cut!” Everyone went to a wrap party afterwards, but it wasn’t much of a party. Naomi was off by herself, but he went over and told her they had a connection. All the girls tonight seemed so very needy. Lauren all but begged for a rose and Shannon told Jason she was not going to let him send her home. Shannon tried to kiss him but felt rejected. He ended up giving the rose to needy Naomi.

That left Nikki and Stephanie for the two-on-one date. The girls got to wear beautiful gowns and went to a romantic restaurant. They learned the waltz and took turns waltzing with Jason. Poor Nikki had two left feet and Stephanie just glided. One the one-on-one time, Nikki told Jason of her 11 year relationship, which seemed to take him back a bit. I was afraid he might choose Nikki, but he gave the rose to my girl Stephanie. I have liked Stephanie since day one and really think she might be the one for Jason. Of course, I don’t think he really rejected Nikki, just had to choose one and she was not as open to him as Stephanie.

On the final night, Lauren tells Jason she is mad at him because he cannot follow instructions. He told her it might have worked out differently if she had asked and not told him to give her the rose. She felt better after their talk.

At the rose ceremony, Jason had three roses to give out. The first one went to Melissa. The second went to Jillian. Jason picked up the third rose, stood there for a moment, and then put it down. He told the remaining three – Megan, Shannon, and Lauren – that he couldn’t do it, couldn’t give out the final rose because he couldn’t see forever with any of them and he didn’t want to lead anyone one.

Megan fussed because he changed the rules. Hello – if he doesn’t feel it, why not save your feelings now? Shannon just said she’d go home and French kiss her puppy. Ew, did she really say that on television? Ick.
