The Bachelor: Melissa Gets the Proposal!
On the finale of “The Bachelor,” Ty came to New Zealand to meet Melissa and Molly. Melissa, Jason, and Ty played golf for a while and Ty really seemed to take to Melissa. They went into the house so Melissa could meet Jason’s mom, dad, and brothers and of course, they quizzed her about the parents thing. She told them her parents were just private people but her family was close knit. When Ty woke up from his nap, he wanted to see Melissa and Jason’s dad really liked that. Mom thought Melissa really loved Jason.
Molly met Jason and Ty at the beach. Molly was nervous and Ty was less than interested in her. She was nervous about that. They threw a Frisbee and he wouldn’t throw it to Molly. She kept trying and he finally threw it to her. She helped him fly a kite and he really opened up to her. Then Molly went to meet the family. The family quizzed Molly and she said she was in love with Jason and ready to settle down. Dad liked how she said things and Ty was looking for her like he was looking for Melissa. The family said they all saw that Molly loved Jason, but they said it like maybe they didn’t see it in Melissa. Mom pointed out the Molly was career oriented and she thought Jason wanted someone family oriented.
Melissa called her mom and told her that she told Jason she loved him. She wanted her mom to talk to Jason on the phone and both her parents agreed to talk to him. They went on a boating date and he told her his family adored her. They make such a cute couple! Later that night, she told him her parents wanted to talk to him. She told him she loved him again and he told her he never felt that way before. But then, he said to the camera that he had feelings for someone else too.
The next day, Jason had a date with Molly. Molly took over the date, bringing him back to her room for a massage then cooking him dinner. She told him before the last rose ceremony, she had only given him 99%, but realized she wanted to give him 100%. She gave him a book of their fairytale love story. In it, she called him the love of her life. He said it showed an emotional side she doesn’t often show. She told him she loved him and he said “You know I am falling for you.”
Jason calls Melissa parents – silly me, I thought he’d call while he was with her! He said he understood them not wanting to be on camera and said it was great talking to them. That was his last concern about Melissa.
And then, that shameless hussy DeAnna had the nerve to show her face! She said she showed up because she lost out on a great man. Jason told her he had the girl he was looking for when he went into this and the wildcard girl. DeAnna said she chose the wildcard, but she should have chosen him. Was NBC trying to make us think she wanted another chance with Jason? Of course it was! But, it didn’t really turn out that way.
Jason says he is in love with both Melissa and Molly, but he went to pick out the ring anyhow. Both women looked so pretty in their dresses and Ty looked cute all dressed up. Even I was anxious!
The first limo pulled up and it was Molly. Jason had what appeared to be a bad look on his face. She stopped him and told him that this had been an incredible journey and she wouldn’t take back a minute of it. He said he didn’t know how he could let her go, but he had to because he was in love with someone else. She said she didn’t understand and said she thought he had made a big mistake. As they walked out, she said she thought he was going to end up hurt again. He told her he thought she was wrong and she said she hoped she was because he deserved someone great. How humiliating to be that pretty and be told you aren’t the one on national television, especially after the fairytale book she made. She kept saying he made a huge mistake, but she never said why she thought that.
Jason didn’t take it well either. He went crying onto the balcony. Wait, he’s supposed to NOT get hurt this time – poor Jason. The second limo pulls up and Melissa gets out. Why do they make the nervous girls walk downhill in heels to get to Jason? Anyhow, he told her he loved he and she jumped in his arms – so cute! Then he gave her the ring.
So cute when they all three jumped in the pool. I hope this one works.
