The Bachelor: Sheena is Eliminated
Okay, I am starting to get a bit disillusioned with this show. Tonight, Brad went to the girl’s hometowns to meet their families. The visit with Jenni in Kansas went great. Her grandma was a bit hard on Brad, but they made him feel at home. Jenni’s dad liked him too. But, he told Jenni that she had made the Phoenix Suns dance team, which worried Brad. But in the end, he said he was willing to compromise if she had to stay in Phoenix another year.
Brad went to California next to meet Sheena’s family. Mom was kooky with her astrology and talking bout lassoing the Big Dipper (???) while in the hot tub, but Brad seemed to like her parents. Maybe he was turned off because her mom started planning the wedding.
Next was Georgia to meet DeAnna’s big fat Greek family. DeAnna showed Brad pics of her deceased mom, which really touched him. He said he felt like they were husband and wife at a family reunion.
The last stop was Bettina’s family in Washington, D.C. When I first saw her dad, I thought “He looks like a professor” and low and behold, he was! He was disappointed that Brad dropped out of college. The whole family was weird, rude, and distant to Brad. The step mother didn’t like that he ran bars and the mom was just strange. What was that running off in the middle of the conversation to let the dog out all about? Her dad said her first husband was “a wonderful, wonderful man.” Ah, now I understand…
I thought for sure Bettina was gone after that awkward visit, but Brad eliminated Sheena. He said it just wasn’t there with her. That’s funny, it was there last week. And is “it” there with Bettina? We never really see her and Brad talk about anything deep. She’s starting to get on my nerves.
