The Bachelor: Stephanie Goes Home
Man, I was so disappointed with The Bachelor tonight. Stephanie has always been my favorite since day one and I was really hoping for a spark between them. Jason took the five remaining girls to Seattle to get to know them better and after watching the episode; I realized that he asked all the girls who he would meet at home except Stephanie. Should have been a clue! I mean, I know he’s met Sophia, but he didn’t ask about her parents or anything.
Naomi finally got her one-on-one date and there was a lot of kissing, but apparently, Jason questioned whether she was really ready for marriage because he called her outside at the rose ceremony. She said she was ready and I guess that is all it took. It was down to her and Stephanie and he gave the rose to Naomi.
Jason said in his radio interview tonight that his date with Stephanie where her daughter showed up was the most amazing date so far, but I guess it was just friendship. I was just so hoping those two would have had some chemistry. He did say in front of everyone how special she was and how they were all lucky to have met her. The other girls were bawling their eyes out.
So, my question is – are they setting us up for the next Bachelorette? I mean, who would be a better choice than Stephanie? I never thought about it until a friend mentioned it after the elimination, but she is perfect. NBC…are you listening?

I was heartbroken for Stephanie, not only was she a beautiful human being, she had a heart of gold, she was classy, mature, such a lady, a good Mom, and she was gorgeous. I see Jason going for the young little hotties, which is sad, because I see only one that’s left who might be a good fit, and who has the maturity to be a parent, AND a lifetime partner. Poor Jason probably doesn’t realize how he ended up divorced to being with, you can’t just get together with someone based upon looks and attraction, and some spart, there have to be SO many components. Melissa might be an option, if she grows up some, but again, these girls are still very young and Molly is way to immature for him, as is Naomi. Molly even said she was wanting a “long term relationship, and eventually marriage, and kids later” that was a HUGe red flag, but Jason is too wowed by her looks and cuteness, to see that. His poor son, I feel that with Naomi’s issues, she wouldn’t make much of a long term partner either. However, in all defense, if he didn’t feel a spark with Steph, you can’t force one. I can tell you to this day what my husband was wearing when I first met him
Somtimes, it’s just there.
I just hope Molly is not his choice, I think she’s sweet, but doubt she’s mature enough for what he’s looking for, long term. Short term, yes, and sadly, I think Naomi isn’t far behind her in terms of relational issues. So, I guess my top pick is Jillian, now that Steph and a few others went home already, it’s too bad he went for the obvious “cuties” and didn’t give the women who would be a good Mother and wife, chances. My second pick is Melissa. Then Naomi, which I hate to even see, or Molly who I really hope he doesn’t pick. He may end up like Pappas, two shows, no “forever love”. Before the last few shows, I felt he was genuine, and wanted someone to last a lifetime!

Stephanie was my favorite, from ANY episode. She is remarkable and a lovely person. I hope she is the next bachelorette. If anyone deserves to find their soul mate, it is surely her.

Steph is awesome! She deserves a great guy like Jason. I understand when sparks aren’t there…it won’t work. So let’s help Steph and nominate her for the next bachelorette show on ABC. Go here if you wanna help: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/stephanie-hogan-bachelorette-petition
