The Bachelorette: Ed and Mark Leave
This week, “The Bachelorette” was in Whistler for some fun in the snow. Jillian and Michael went zip lining, and then had a romantic dinner. After some tough questions, Jillian decided Michael was there for the right reasons and gave him the rose.
The group date was Wes, Robby, Kiptyn, Tanner, Ed, Jake, Reid, and Mark. Jillian took them snowmobiling, but used it as an opportunity to question each one about why they were there. She was still worried about the talk from last week about girlfriends and people being there for the wrong reasons. Too bad the one guilty guy has her so spellbound that she is not seeing it! Wes admitted that he had a new CD coming out (plug #1), but he hoped she knew he was there for her, blah, blah, blah. He did, however, mention to the camera that this would be good exposure for his CD. Jillian admits that she “loves” Wes. Blech.
Ed got the group date rose, but only after telling Jillian that he was getting pressure from his boss to return to work. She gave him the rose to show she was interested, but said she understood if he had to leave and he could give the rose back. Well, he decided to leave and still wouldn’t give her the rose back. She was upset, bur realized they had different priorities.
Jesse got the other one-on-one date and they flew to a glacier. This looked like a really cool date and Jesse said he would remember the date and Jillian forever. That touched her a bit. After dinner and the hot tub, she gave him a rose.
Has anyone watching this show seen any chemistry at all between Tanner and Jillian? I mean other than his love for her feet? If not, then please explain to me why she keeps giving him a rose! I had the perfect scenario drawn out in my mind tonight. It would be between Tanner and Wes for the last rose and she would give it to Wes. As Tanner walked up to hug her goodbye, he would whisper “It’s Wes” in her ear. That would have been so perfect. But, instead, it was Mark leaving. He admitted he had a hard time opening up after being hurt so much.
