The Bachelorette: Jillian Sends Reid Home
This week’s “Bachelorette” was set in romantic Maui. Jillian went on dates with all three remaining guys – Ed, Reid, and Kiptyn – and chose to spend the night with each one in the fantasy suite.
But, she was disappointed in her night with Ed, which seemed weird. They had already spent one night together and they are supposed to be doing *that* anyhow, but she put on a slinky nightshirt, he took off his shirt, they started rubbing oil on each other and the lights went off. Suddenly, they came back on and it looked like Ed was asleep. Jillian blamed it on a busy day – they went swimming in the ocean. She was worried though that they didn’t have chemistry. He brought his parents out to meet her, which was sweet since she was worried about that.
With Reid, she still wanted to know how he felt and he still couldn’t verbalize it. It was cute when he said he felt like he was a kid and told her he liked her this much and stretched out his arms. She asked him if he was ready for a proposal and he hummed and hawed around. He told her the “L” word was hard for him, but it could happen in the future.
Before the rose ceremony, the guys all left little videos for Jillian to see and Ed had not problem dropping the “L” word when he told her he loved her. I really like Ed – for some reason, I’ve never really felt love for Kiptyn, but I guess next week we will see who Jillian picks because after talking to Ed (he reassured her she had nothing to worry about and asked her to trust him), she sent Reid home.
Reid said he hoped she was making the right choice, that he messed up by not telling her more how he felt, and she cried on a bench until Ed came and got her.
