The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All Reunion

The Bachelorette” reunion show didn’t disappoint me, although I cannot believe Wes didn’t show up for some more free self promotion! There was more talk of Tanner P’s foot fetish (Jillian wasn’t bothered by it and Juan admitted her feet were hot) and we got to see Ed drunk in Vancouver before the drama really started.

Jason and Molly showed up. Is anyone really interested in what happens to there two? I loved Jason when he was on the show, but now, I don’t really care about him and Molly anymore. They said there was going to be a wedding after she moved to Seattle, but if they are so blissfully happy, why not a wedding now? Your 15 minutes are up, please just go away.

Of course, there was talk of Wes, whom Ed called a “country singing turd.” Tanner F said Wes told him he wrote all those songs for his girl back home. What surprised me was that even though Wes admitted to everyone he was there to sell CDs, some guys stood by him.

Which leads up to David’s man code talk. Apparently, Juan is a big man code offender because he refused to drink and hang out with the guys unless the camera was on. If he had admitted he wasn’t a big drinker, that would have been okay, but faking it wasn’t. Juan felt David being inappropriate with Jillian was more of a man code violation. Touché.

Tanner P also broke the man code for not manning up and telling Jillian who had the girlfriend, but I think it would have been more of a violation to rat him out. Which leads us to All-American, perfect Jake. The guys thought he was being fake because he pulled a Mesnick (leaned over the balcony to cry about a girl he hardly knew), plus he was too perfect for words. Sasha compared him to someone from a soap opera (an actor), but I like Jake. Some guys also hated that he ratted out Wes, but rats need to be ratted out and he said he would do it all over again. Someone from the audience asked if he would be willing to be the next Bachelor. He said he was flattered, but it would be a decision he would have to make if and when the time came. ABC – are you listening? Please, please, please make Jake the next Bachelor!

Jillian came on at the end and said that after watching all the stuff she had missed, it broke her heart to see Juan treated that way. Okay, if Jake doesn’t want to be the Bachelor, I would be okay with Juan doing it. She said the hardest rose ceremonies were Mike, Michael, and Reid (duh). Then we got to see some funny outtakes, mostly of the guys farting.
