The Classical and the Steamy
Ah, the mighty male dancers redeemed themselves tonight. Emmitt made a great comeback from last week’s last place finish, scoring a respectable 24. Joey did a “wow of a waltz” as Len said and earned the third highest score of the night with a 27.
But Mario – he returned to Super Mario status with his paso doble. His super sexy performance earned him the highest score of the night with a 29. And Jerry brought tears to almost everyone with his waltz. He wanted to last long enough in the competition to learn the waltz so he could dance with his daughter at her wedding.
As for the girls, Monique was holding steady with a score of 24. The judges gave Sara a 20, saying she was gloomy and had lost the personality she gained last week. The audience booed, but I have to agree with the judges. Vivica did a powerful paso doble, earning a 24. But the judges cautioned her to regain a little of her femininity. Willa wowed again this week with a beautiful waltz. She earned the night’s second highest score with a 28. But I could have gone without hearing Len remind us that a few weeks ago she was within a “gnat’s scrotum” of going home!
Who will go home this week? Hard to say – the competition is getting tough. I think this week; it will be Sara and Jerry in the bottom two. But Jerry has SO many fans; they may pull him through another week.
