The Competition Stiffens
And stiffens it does - Mario and Joey seemed to have redeemed themselves with the judges this week. Mario’s paso doble was a show stopper, the audience pleaser of the night, and the judges agreed with a score of 29. Joey did the waltz, I think that was his punishment assignment, and it was evident that he was uncomfortable. Comfort be darned, he did a very nice job; was a good boy, and the judges liked it.
While we are on the waltz, wasn’t Monique great! She was very expressive and did a beautiful waltz. Willa’s waltz was surprisingly nice, elegant, she didn’t try anything super-difficult, but what she did she did well. What can you say about Jerry Springer? That waltz was his best dance of the competition, he put his heart in it and it showed.
Maybe it was the music, maybe it was the costume, but absolutely it was the dancing - Sara, the paso doble is the wrong dance for you. You can be much better than that. Who had it in for Vivica? She’s a beautiful woman, but that costume and again the music - not paso doble stuff. But Emmitt, you were absolutely fabulous. What a great job! All I can say is ole!
So, who will be the victim this week? My vote is Sara, what’s yours?
