The End of the Road for…
Tonight the teams went to Madagascar. The Barbies finished in first the last leg of the race and David and Mary had to finish in first or at least 30 minutes ahead of the last team to ward off elimination.
This week, there was an intersection – where two teams had to work together. Tyler and James decided to work with Kimberly and Rob and they decided to take the fast forward. Unfortunately, it was eating cow lips – ew. Each member of both teams had to eat a plate of the nasty looking stuff that still contained hair and teeth. It seemed like they ate on that stuff FOREVER.
At one point, I thought they would be the last teams to arrive at the checkpoint. The other two teams (The Barbies and the Chos/The Bama Girls and David and Mary) chose to do the Long Sleep detour – they had to cover mattresses then hand deliver them through the streets. Of course, the team of the Barbies and Chos were much more efficient and finished before the other team. The Road Block was to find plane, train, car, and boat rubber stamps at a market.
The Barbies finished in first again and won a trip to Hawaii. Tyler and James came in second and Rob and Kimberly came in third after finishing the cow lips. The Chos arrived 4th and David and Mary arrived 5th, but had to wait 30 minutes before they could check in. With 20 minutes still left, the Bama Girls appeared, placing David and Mary in last and they were eliminated.
