The Exterminators are Coming to A&E
One of A&E’s newest reality shows, “The Exterminators,” premieres February 4th at 10:30 pm/9:30C. Vexcon is the extermination company that includes Billy Bretherton and his family. They take on any type of pest, rodent, or animal that can be found in swamp-filled Louisiana. It’s a family affair with Billy’s brother Rick helping to run the company and his dad Bill Sr. and mom Donnie running the office with the help of Billy’s wife Mary, much to their dismay. But, sometimes there is more action inside the office than out.
Billy may look and dress like a rock star, but as a former Air Force Sergeant and 15 year pest management veteran, Billy takes a war-like approach to getting rid of the pests and doesn’t like to lose, but always uses humane methods. He knows what it takes to get rid of any type of pest, from the tiniest of ants to the largest of snakes. He also gives handy hints for extermination, like bating traps with peanut butter and jelly or dog food.
The premiere episode, titled “Goth Bees & Killer Coons,” deals with Billy having to face down a protective mother raccoon and a seven foot long beehive. A real bee’s nest is stirred up when Ricky’s ex-wife Pam returns to work in the office – something that makes some of the Brethertons not too happy.
I think this one is going to be pretty interesting. Billy seems to be very engaging in the previews and he and his family sound just crazy enough to make this a fun show!
